The Essex County Wind Action
Group or ECWAG was founded by the concerned citizens of
Essex County in order to help educate the community on the
drawbacks to industrial wind power generating facilities.
With society's needs for power continuously
growing and the realization that we need to invest more
resources to cleaner energy production, the topic of wind power
has become the focus of many nations. ECWAG recognizes the need
for cleaner energy production, but disagrees with the planned
placement of industrial wind power generating facilities
throughout Essex County.
ECWAG's goal is to provide
honest, justifiable reasons as to why industrial wind power
generating facilities do not belong in a populated rural
community like Essex County.
